💡 Concept:

Students (16 years old) will become “WasteTech Innovators” tasked with creating a smart, sustainable waste management system for a community, school, or smart home. Using technology and STEAM skills, they’ll address challenges involving waste reduction, recycling, tracking, and innovation.

Task: Use a fictional dataset (or smart waste tracker simulation) to analyze where waste is most excessive (e.g., food waste, paper, plastics).

Goal:

  • Detect high-waste areas

  • Suggest technology (smart bins, tracking apps, sensors) to reduce and sort waste
